is there anything different i would need to do a hemi swap with a 6 speed? i.e. what tranny would i need to get? i have read that it is a ram tranny.. would that bolt up to a commander 5.7?? are there any differences in the computer? i.e. could i still get the hemi kit from aev and it work or would i have to do somthing else? do yall sell your own pcms or do yall use aevs in your conversions also?
i want to do this but i would like to do it myself, and i want to have a 6 speed.
thanks alot.
where is bedford in relation to sachse tx? i am sure it is close. i only ask because while i am living in alabama i am from tyler, tx and my sister and bro in law live in sachse.
thanks alot.

I believe they're using a Getrag 238 6-speed tranny. They've done one other manual hemi conversion which turned out well. The computer is a custom flash for manual transmission and I don't believe is compatible w/ auto tranny (or vice versa), so the AEV kit won't work. I understand AEV is developing something for manual swap but nothing in the market yet.
The build quality of the SLC work is awesome with great attention to detail. For anyone interested, I strongly suggest you speak w/ Gerry as he can answer any question you may have.
I was on the phone w/ them today and mentioned that I'm going plum crazy to know my rig is down there with me stuck in Chicago and no jeep to play with. I can't wait until this is done!

Give us a shout about motors / trans etc - we should be able to help you sort everything out.
We're behind on posting pictures, so here's a few updates for everyone. The motor's more complete now - wiring, trans, pan etc all attached.
(Gerry and Adam looking the motor over...)
