Well, still waiting for my rear bumper and I have the front bumper getting powder coated. Hopefully Monday it'll be done. In the mean time I bought the jeep a 1961 M101 trailer. It's pretty sweet, but needs some work. Not a 100% if I'll keep it, but for now I'm real excited for it.

more has been done. My drive shaft with yoke finally came in and now have that installed. That thing is stout


I also finally got my front bumper back from powder coating. Took the guy a week to get it done. I kept getting told "it'll be done tomorrow" with it never getting done. So, I went down there and chewed him out a bit. Needless to say, it was done that afternoon. That thing was a PIA to put it on. I installed the revolver lights in it too. They are so bright. Brighter than the headlights. Downside is, the OEM retaining screws don't hold the lights in very tight, so I need to get different screws for it, which sucks because it isn't an easy area to get to. Also, not looking forward to installing a winch because i will have to take the bumper off.






For christmas I got my wife some GraBars so she can get into the jeep. These things are awesome and I love them.

I finally got the rear bumper. I did get it awhile ago and put on, just haven't posted it up. I've seen other posts around of people saying it was easy to do, but it was a really PIA for me. First off, they don't provide any instructions or a tools need list. All they have you do is watch a video on their website. That was helpful, but it would have still been nice to have written instructions so I didn't have to keep coming into my house. When I installed it, the temp was 1o degrees and colder, so my phone wouldn't work very well and I had poor service in my garage for the wifi. Also, I don't have a lot of tools, so a few trips to the parts store to get the right size socket was done. Have a tools need listed would have cut done on so much time.
The bolt holes on the bumper did line up completely either. That made things very interesting to put on. For the tire swing away, the bottom bearing had come out, so get the carrier down in along with keeping that bearing in place and then screwing the nut on made things tricky. But, I eventually got it on. Now I need to figure out how to wire the lights to the rear lights. And if I wasn't frustrated enough, I just noticed that one of the lights points up some and the only way to fix it I believe is to remove the bumper. And, installing those lights sucked. The brackets were to far apart and thick. Getting the lights bolted in firmly was a joke. But, I got it done. I feel I might be really annoyed once I get those lights working and seeing where they are pointing.

Nice looking jeep did you re gear? How does it run on 37s power mpg crawling ability with the 3.6 and xxxxx gears.

I have not regeared yet. This newer engine can handle it a lot better then the 3.8 ever could. After putting the 37's on, it was noticeably sluggish but somewhat doable. I got a Superchips for it and that has really helped. MPG had dropped, but is improved with the SC as we as the performance. Having the SC has made it very drivable for now without doing gears. I'll have to do them, but thankfully it is now something I can hold off on for a bit.

Did some work on the Jeep today. My Rock Hard 4X4 oil pan skid finally showed up today. I gave it a paint job and installed it. This was an easy install, which very grateful. The one down side for me is I need an extra shim for it. The one provided was not quite enough. My exhaust still comes in contact with the skid. I called them and they said they would mail one out to me today.
















I also installed and got my hi-lift all set up. I like how it turned out.
Pictures aren't the best but oh well.
















I also finally installed my Synergy wheel spacers. The little extra width is nice. It's hard to notice with pictures, but the slight change is there.

have you flexed it since the spacers? Looks like you might contact the fenders now instead of tucking up in them when you stuff.
