JK's New Sneakers.....
Well, I finally got around to taking a few shots of the new family member only took 5 months....but this is my wifes 2008 JK Unlimited Sahara with it's new sneakers that got fitted today.
Set of Cooper STT's 33.12.5R17 mounted on Eagle Alloy Series 140 17x8 rims with a 4.5" BS. I will be getting the Rubicon Express 2" BB installed in about 3 weeks. So I think it will look just right with the 33's. I have absolutely no rubbing with this tire and the tire sits out about 1/2" to 3/4"outside the stock fenders. Got lots of comments and looks when we were driving around.
The ride is nice and the tires are not bad for noise...my wife gave it the thumbs up!!! The wife loves the big wide tire look and how the rims match the hardtop.
Sorry for the darker images...sunny was heading down behind MT. Begbie. When it gets sunny and I get a chance to shine up the JK I will post more!!!

Happy wife.... is a happy life!
I was joking with my wife this morning. she has an '05 chevy silverado with a 3" lift and 35's, but yet, whenever we get ready to head to Edmonton... we gotta take my Jeep! That should tell ya something... can you say Jeep shopping!

Thanks Bro....
I was on the fence with rims and I couldn't wait for a set till June then I found the Eagle Alloy 140 series and they were on sale.
Then I was on the fence between Toyo M/T's and Cooper STT's mud tires. I finally decided on Cooper for price and weight difference.
Then it was issues with size. 285/70R17 or 295/70R17. I wanted the 295's....but Cooper STT's in that size were backordered for a month....So, I decided to plunge and get the wider 33x12.5 and have been pleased. Tires stick out just enough outside the flares!!!
Now in 3 weeks I will have my Rubicon Express 2" BB and then I can relax a little and payoff the VISA and enjoy the JK in the summer!!!
