Default JKFSU build thread

Got my jeep in august when I decided to transfer to FSU and move from miami to tallahassee. Im 21 years old and went from a 500whp race car to a 180whp 4000lb box and love it! its a 2011 2 door wrangler sport with the power windows/tow package 3.73 gears/hardtop. Ive done a couple mods in the months I've owned her and am really happy how its coming along

Current mods:
35x12.5x17 nitto trail grapplers
17x9 et-12 XD addicts matte black
Rubicon rails
sahara front and rear bumpers
RC 2.5 inch budget boost with n2.0 shocks
RC steering stabilizer
rugged ridge front and rear tail light guards
black jeep door sill protector

Future mods in the next 2 months
poison spyder brawler lite
engo 9000 winch w/ synthetic line
teraflex HD carrier
spare tire
poison spyder rear bumper
evo springs/suspension

Thanks guys! i have yet to take her off road yet but i am dying to. I am also debating the next set of mods to buy this week...spare tire/teraflex HD carrier or front bumper (brawler lite or XHD) with winch. Im torn :(

I just did the teraflex hd tire carrier and new hinge setup. Worked out great. Ordered from 4wd.com and spoke to Bryan. Tell him you are a forum member and he will give you a good deal. Got mine for $567.

It's awesome and works just like stocks and holds my 35 no problem.

Lots of wheeling in Florida?

I own a house in zephyr hills, we fly there every year. When my youngest gets a little older we are going to take my jeep and drive down. Would love to have some wheeling fun down there.

Theres some nice spots out here in tallahassee i recently discovered...forest trail with light rock crawling, mud trails, small creeks, and some good obstacles too. There is also good spots in jacksonville too

Where do you go? I live in north Tallahassee and I haven't heard of any places locally.

About 3 hours west, head down the 10 to Crestview exit and turn south on 85, you will find a bunch of stuff - its Air Force land but you can get a pass at the gate (used to be able to). When I went to FSU I knew some ROTC guys that wheeled down there (I had a sport bike in school). There used to be some down 20 heading west too, this was back in 1998/2001
