Back to the caravans and campers.
I find it funny that the tow rating of the jeep is different in every country. It goes to show the tow rating is a political number not a technical number.
Jeep.com.au Unlimited 2300kg or 5070 lbs.
Jeep.co.uk Unlimited 3500 kg or 7716 lbs.
Jeep.ca or Jeep.com Unlimited 1588 kg or 3500 lbs.
Same axles, brakes etc.
I find this funny as my RAV4 has the same towing capability as my Jeep.

makes you laugh? you leave me scratching my head thinking about how arse about you have American English and Overseas English. Sure England is overseas from the USA. Although it would be a redundant oxymoron to be referring to English English. We here in Oz speak 'strine not the Queens English.
The Dodge Caravan in the USA is badged Chrysler Voyager here.
A camper in Oz speak is a box trailer with folding tent mounted on top.
A caravan in Oz speak has solid walls not canvas.
My diesel JK unlimited tows my 'van, even on a beach extremely well.

Just wondering how many other JEEP-lovers are also using their JK Wrangler for towing a caravan? My JK is doing a great job taking me and the van to many interesting places around Australia. Once I find another wonderful spot, I just unhook the van and venture further into the Australian wilderness in my Big Red (Tessa) JK. Would be great to hear from others doing the same.
Yup..Plenty of JK towing campers ... Jeeps and Campers
