JK vs Prius
Can anyone help me find the post about the member here who had a prius owner come up to him and try to bash his jeep until he was explained how un-ecofriendly his prius actually was.

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...dly-than-Prius!
I find that using Google to search is WAAAY better than the forum's own search. Thanks to Mark Doiron I learned to do this in Google:
enter your search terms as "prius site:jk-forum.com"
Great trick!
ps - actually this is a different thread - I remember the one you are looking for but can't find it even with the Google "trick"

Agree with the search haha. I do the "site: jk-forum.com" trick all the time.
I was really hoping that this thread would be something about a Prius *crashing into* (or should I say "crumbling into a ball of twisted metal and bouncing off of") a Jeep.

I really want to see this thread now! I love the environment but my Jeep's not evil. I tried explaining to a friend of mine (hippie wannabe) how owning a medium sized family dog has a larger carbon footprint than my Jeep because of dog food factories, fields and ranges to grow ingredients, and transport on 18 wheelers. He freaked out! It would be a blast to bring up a Prius argument with him.

Not to throw everybody into the same bucket, but I am always amazed at the sense of elitism that Prius owners all seem to have.
You buy one battery car and suddenly you get a lifetime, free to be an a-hole, pass.
Battery car is great if it works for you, but no need to almost run me over when i'm on my Harley.
99% of all Prius drivers... drive like sh1t ...IMHO.

Ha! My brother-in-law just got a Prius a few weeks ago, and was trying to laugh about how his car got WAY better mileage than my JK. That was until I pointed out the fact that his "car" looked like a giant shoe, and that I could LITERALLY drive up the front of it and park on top if I wanted to.
...he shut up after that point.
