i've not heard of one before but by the looks of this shot, a muffler skid may need to be in order soon

On that last pic, is that the muffler? Holy cow talk about having a crushed up muffler. That thing hangs entirely too low.

Yup, that ridiculously huge and hanging too low thing is in fact the muffler. Seriously, the way I beat up my gas tank skid on the trails, this thing is definetly gonna get crunched. Who knows, maybe somebody out there will come up with a skid for it :o

from the peeps at Jeep that I talked to, the crossmember that the air dam (AKA ugly plastic psudo skidplate, or UPPS) is only there to keep the JK legal for Euro pedestrian crash standards... So breakout the cutting tools.....

yeah check this out...http://www.canadiandriver.com/articl...07wrangler.htm and look at the pictures of the black wrangler (3rd from the bottom), notice the tailpipe is already smashed up!

Yeah, on the TJ's you're more likely to smack your gas tank skid before your tailpipe ever gets touched. Now, both your muffler and tailpipe are open to get munched on just about any thing :rolleyes: But, ya gotta know that there are people working on this issues already
