My Rubicon got 18.0 when it was stock. After the lift and 35" tires it got 12 mpg. Now after changing to 5.38 gears I get 18.4 to 18.8 mpg, which is better than stock.

Gas stations are a luxury that some of us must do without in the forms of off-roading that interest us. Therefore, gas mileage can, in fact, be very critical, even when carrying jerry cans. Reduced gas mileage is the primary reason I'm having a lot of angst over whether I will switch to 35s (from 33s) when I put new tires on next year.

stock I was getting around 15 city, around 17 highway. Put the 33s on and it went to 13 city.

Flashpaq on 87 tune and a kn airfilter and its back to about stock, maybe a smidge better.... But I stay on the gas pedal pretty hard...

Auto/4.10's & 33x12.5's with 3" lift. I get 15-16 city, dunno about highway, I tend to avoid them at all costs. I am lucky enough to live very close to work.
