Same thread - different special edition. I did the math before I bought my Willys and the stuff that came with the $3800 stickers were worth more than the price tag but I guess in some folk's opinion everyone needs a Rubicon...

I was bored so I priced it out on jeep.com and the willy's comes in about $2100 more then a sport s and gains rubi rock rails, tinted windows, off road grab handles, slush mats, trail ready kit (nice touch), stickers, and the Fugly rubi wheels.

I love that argument, there were many jeeps before the Rubicon model. I fully understand some people want and will use the factory lockers, but truth is so many more of us do not. I would rather have LSD rear or better yet truetracs front and rear.

It all depends on how you use your Jeep.

Not everyone needs a rubi. I started with a bare bones sport with AC as the only option. For a while I regret not getting a rubi. Now I'm happy I got what I did.

Default more than just a sticker package

I recently had a go in the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler, and I believe that it is much more than just a sticker package to appeal to posers.

I find it really hard to take stock in anything a JK Forum-Editor has to say about a Jeep. Until we have some proof that any of you even so much as own one, your opinions carry no weight. I'm willing to bet that most of you drive Prius's and are "Forum-Editors" on those sites too.

I myself have actually looked into the differences. The only thing that is a difference between the S and the W build, is stickers, wheels, tires, rails, a grille that doesn't match, floor mats, and some lame ass high-gloss black bumper appliqués.

So wheels can be found as take offs all the time on craigslist for $400 with tires
Rails can be found for about $100
Grille, well if you want it black, grab a can of spay paint
floor mats, $100
And the high-gloss black bumper appliques? Why in the world you would want that I don't know, bumpers seem to be the first thing to go anyways.

Here are 2 windows stickers here at a local dealer.
But in reality most people go bigger tires and offset rims, so the $400 would still be a waste of money. So you're still looking at around $1,400 for stickers.

If your comparing a sport to a willys you also get the rubicon shocks, 373 gears, dual top, and tow package and the slush mats along with the trail kit

I like the Rubi wheels, not many third party vendors have made anything much better. AEV has some nice looking wheels but thats about it.
