Northridge( OUR FAVORITE PLACE) carries a plate for lugs. I am in the process of cutting up the original mount to use instead of the "T" bar. I already adapted the brake light to work. It really is a well built carrier.

CApt. To answer your email you sent me in regards to the bumpstop on the tailgate... I got rid of them when I had my previous bumper set up. The third brake light I tossed in the trash and the T handle switch to a lug style mount was only a consideration. Now that I fabbed my license plate relocation for the T handle I'm good..

with some washers and wing nuts, cut the rod in half and it was a done deal.
Yes, you have to install the AEV corner guards first because the OR-FAB carrier installation will
require drilling through the driver side corner guard and I had to grind around the AEV hinge recess
on the passenger side to allow for the heavy duty OR-FAB hinges.

It was a raised lip between the tail light and the hinge recess. The lip would cover the fixed side
of the factory hinge, but the OR-FAB hinge is larger and would not fit under the edge of the lip, so
I ground it back until the hinge would clear. Not that big a deal and you wouldn't notice if I didn't
mention it.
