We were at Silver Lake state park in Michigan, every vehicle in the ORV area is required to have one. Its not to bad until the flag starts smacking up against the grill, then it gets rather bothersome

Actually, its the park rules. Vehicles and buggies have to have them on the front, quads and bikes have them on the rear.

Kinda wierd but the park rangers wont let you in unless they say it good.
