I for one love it. Put a 2.5" lift and Rubi take offs and you'll be perfectly happy with it.

that's a good idea. I didn't think about buying Rubi parts. I love my altitude.

The volcano edition turned into the Altitude edition. I'm not a huge fan of the gloss black on the steering wheel, and the decal on the hood of a black Altitude just makes it look dirty. I love the rest of the interior, the seats are super comfortable. I've never been a fan of all the color matching fenders or tops so that kind of makes me shy away from it again, but it's kind of a cool Jeep.

Nice looking Jeep. I was looking at the possibility of trading my wife's Commander for either a Patriot or Grand Cherokee Altitude Edition. Either one would make a nice addition to my COD MW3,

Funny,
I have a set of rubi takeoffs with pizza cutters sitting in my garage. I kinda like the stock wheels on the altitude though.....so may end up selling the rubi takeoffs and big tires.

Newbie here. Picked up a black altitude edition a few months back. Got a great deal. We love it. Main off road use so far is mild to moderate trails on our property, but hope to get more ambitious once I lift it. Had a CJ years ago. This forum has been great for learning the jeep way.
