Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Altitude Edition
Saw this on Jeeps YouTube channel today.
2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Altitude Joins Special Edition Grand Cherokee, Patriot - WOT on Motor Trend
Jeep Wrangler Unlimited joins Altitude lineup - Autoweek
Just looks like a Sahara with painted wheels and bumper pieces. Thought I would share.

Special edition? Why don't they call it " slightly modified" . Mabey because you would have to be "special" to pay for mods you can do much cheaper on your own.

Looks dumb
One day Chrysler will actually produce an honest to goodness mod-ed off road piece that can be had for 40-45k with stuff like 35s a lift, bumpers, skids, and lights.
Not that they would sell a ton, we all want to do our stuff a certain way.
Just would be nice if it carried a Chrysler warranty
I guess they are going after a different demographic with this edition.

Yeah to be honest I have no clue what they are going for. Just thought I would share it with everyone because I haven't heard or seen anyone mention in. Usually when special editions come out, the forum is excited about it. Not surprised to see no one excited for this one........

Jeep has a "special edition" every six months and has for decades. Why is anybody surprised? Sure, it may not be everybody's choice but there are bits and pieces we all would like. This just makes it easy to get from the parts dept, should you want to add black interior accents (which frankly, will hold up better than rattle-canning your own).
