Don't know if you could make one for the 2-door. Here are the pics and simple instructions.
Made out of wood, but strong as hell. It's easy to make,
build a frame to fit between the gate and rear seat (make sure to measure at the height you want due to the slop of the seat)
Cut a piece of plywood to fit on teh top and nail it to the frame
based on your height, cut the legs to fit at the corners. The trickiest part is if you have a subwoofer. I originally was going to have it sit a little lower so the frame would be on the sub, but my cooler did nto fit under it then, so I raised it a few inches. I angled the legs by the seat to maximize the space and to allow me to use the bolts there to secure it, but straight legs would work also. The leg on the right behind the sub in the first picture is no longer there as it was unbanaced. I have a stubby leg that sits on the top of the sub and no issues.
Once it's built, pull it out, put some outdoor primer or paint on it, just to protect it from the elements and cover it in automotive carpet (cost about $10 at Auto Zone)
lastly, Get some screw in eye bolts, drill where you want them and install.
One last thing I plan to do, but have not yet is add black fabric to the sides that will velcro the carpet on the rack and carpet in the tub. This will block from sight anything I have under the rack when the top or windows are off. This rack will hold 2 of the Large size Action packers and I've had about 150lbs on it at once while offroading and had no issues.
