I would post your story on Jalopnik dot com, a writer contacted me after i posted my story about the dealership voiding my warranty...
Glad everybody is alright, but like everybody says, that's total bullshit. Customer satisfaction? recall? somewhere, somebody messed something up.

Consumer Reports
Send your stuff to Consumer Union (reports). They already hate the JK, this will give them added information to go badger Chrysler about the bad tranny lines.

Well hopefully the 2012 with new motor/tranny wont have these issues.... Scary stuff.. You can always get out of the jeep if it catches fire but the really scary part is if its sitting in your garage after a drive..

Piss poor reaction from the dealership. I'm never a "give me something for free" guy, but you deserve a new Jeep from them.
Did they at least offer your next oil change free?

Glad everyone is ok
This happens to be the only non-gm vehicle i have ever owned...and by the sounds of it, i may just say the hell with it and sell mine in the future. I didnt pay 35k for a vehicle to have a shit ton of problems & not have a company to stand by there warranty..
My grandpa still has his 91 silverado...stock 305, 2nd tranny, & has 345,000 miles on it...and its still goin strong...never once had to worry about a single damn thing with that truck...chrysler is absolutely rediculous...
BTW, where exactly is the leak in the lines located...im gonna start checking for this periodically now...
