I am really truly disgusted with Chrysler. Never in my life have I seen vehicles with such horrid, horrid build quality to the point of the vehicle being dangerous to drive (death wobble, trans fires, fuel overflow) and then have a company not give a shit about its customers safety more the Crapsler.
This will be my LAST vehicle from them.
Im glad your wife escaped with her life.
These things truly are death traps.
I highly suggest you send this story to jalopnik.com and autoblog.com, they have TONS of viewers.
Also I suggest everyone flood Jeeps Facebook page by posting this video over and over..

Man that sucks. Things can be replaced. Glad the wife and Fam are okay.
As for insurance, the dealer has a garage keepers policy that will cover it, but your own insurance will have to subrogate...and they will.
You are entitled to the first $ they get until your deductible is satisfied.
Dealer will be silent and will let their insurance handle it.
It does suck, big time.
Not what you want to hear but Chrysler isn't at fault, only the dealer for shoddy work. Still, for PR they need to compel things to move QUICKLY in your favor.
Shoot me a PM if you have insurance Q's as dealer claims are part of what I handle.

Their facebook page is trying to delete the videos as fast as you guys put them up. I guess you have to "like" the page to be able to post on it? They can't stop everyone else from posting it on their personal pages though. lol
I think your wife needs to go talk to a pulmonologist about the lingering effects of the smoke inhalation. Car fires are some of the worst sources of carcinogens.
