I went through the same thing a while back and it really was a tough decision but I ended up with the JCR dagger stubby and love it. Very well built and excellent craftsmanship. And I love the looks of it.

I went with jcr front and rear bumper. Perfect fit and no cutting on the rear I went with. Sorry I don't have a better pic of the rear.

I painted them. Sanded down a bit then wiped off with mineral spirits. 3 coats of self etching primer, 5 coats of Rustoleum hammered black and 5 coats of clear coat. I might have over did it... But oh well. Took me 100 bucks to paint front and rear.

That is a nice bumper, but looks nothing like the two other options, they are both mid pre bumpers. That is what I'm looking for. Thanks though, the jeep looks good!

One thing on the rear bumper I didn't expect/think of is how much protection from road crap the stock bumper gives. Living in the Midwest they salt the crap out of the roads and I didn't want that all over the place.

So I went and bought a boot mat from the hardware store and cut it to fit. Bolted it right onto the plastic fender lip. Covers it perfectly.

Cost me all of 5 bucks!

Have you thought about the crusader mid width? It tucks the winch out of the way of air flow for the radiator?!
Just a thought.. I run the mid crusader and like it well..

I have. It is basically the same bumper, just half sunk winch. I may go that way, still looking at both brands
