I have never taken apart the dash but I did use a Ram Mount to mount my iPad and have tons of other interior mods...hope you manage to get some good ideas.

Ive taken apart my dash and painted the gray console accents
You will first need to remove the vent/ac rings, then remove the top part of the dash (where the daystar panel goes) pull the center dash out, then unscrew the stereo, then you can remove the gray accents

Thank you! I just decided that i think i am going to dupli-color bedline my accents to match the out side! thank you for the information
