Insulated Hard Top
Winters coming and i figured this would be a good idea; my few months of summer with it the jeep was hot, especially when you’re stopped, so I figured winter would be the same. Im not a fan of the shinny screws and they tend to transfer the cold through. I am hoping to find some black plastic ones as long as they’re strong enough. The biggest benefit I found so far is the noise level drop. It is insulated with 2 layers of reflective insulation, 1/8” fiber board and finished with black canvas that almost matches the roll bar covers. I like it, let me know your thoughts. If there is enough interest I might do a write up. Just a matter of finding time to.
Cost - $100 (I had half of the hardware and insluation)
Time - 3 1/2 days (Mainly adhesive dry time took 24 hours to ‘set’)
