Default Installed My First Lift!!!

With the help of my brother, I installed my first lift! Rough country 3.5 series II...I absolutely love it!!! I wish I would have taken pics and documented it for write-ups...Kinda eel like an ass for not doing that. Next time I surely will, because I think I could shave have the time off just learning what I learned on the first one.

Took a good deal of time just getting the steering wheel centered. Funny story, when I first "thought" I had it centered, I went for a ride and couldn't steer to the left...I had over adjusted the steering linkage to a point where all I could make was right turns...It was fun getting back to the house!

All good now...drives great, a little bump steer because I decided not to install the dropped pitman arm. I am installing an adjustable track bar this week instead.

Thanks for looking!!!

Mike

Looks good. Now you just need some new shoes to fill up those wheel wells

Thanks! Yes, that is the next item on the menu! Planning to go with Nitto Grappler 285 75 17...I think that is about a 34 inch tire, and about 11.5 inches wide. I like the narrower tires for snow. I will probably wear the original rubi tires out first. Can't see wasting all that rubber!

If those Rubi tires are pretty new, you can sell them for upwards of $900. I see sets sell all the time for $700-$900 on CL.

Thanks for the suggestion...They only have 10K miles on them. I may try that!

Looks great!
I like my Rough Country 3.25 too.

I'm sure some bigger tires are on the way?

Yep...working on that now! Got an offer for 650 for my tires, so I will probably be getting some 285 75 17 Nitto Grapplers...I think they are about 34 inch tires...Can't wait!
