I asked around before committing to these. All of the _informed_ opinions were positive. The only two people who criticized them didn't have any real world experience. One guy said he had just gotten back from the Rubicon and had used them for pivot points and they performed like a champ.
Personally I haven't been on any rocks since the build was completed, just a few somewhat technical dirt trails, so I don't have any direct experience yet. Although I'm generally ecstatic about them and would definitely buy them again, I can't say they've worked 100% of the time. Sometimes when you open the door, the step does not extend. Fortunately nothing sounds wrong with the servos/motor, I'm fairly certain that the sensor is simply not detecting the door being opened. It's not a big deal, I just lean in and flip the kill switch on and off and the step pops out. I just haven't had time to give it a closer look.

It's what color a wrangler is ment to be. The minute I saw a Commando Green Wrangler on the lot I got my downpayment together and traded in my old 02' Liberty. (Lost my 99' TJ when the second daughter came along) Now I have a 2013 JKU Sport. Looks better with a 2" BB, removed all the badges and decals and chopped the front bumper. Putting on the mud terrains this weekend.
