I saw one of these on my way to work a couple days ago, passed me on the highway as I was heading to the off ramp. Looks like someone has put a lot of love into that little guy.

Thanks for sharing, if I had the garage room - would love to re-ferb one of the old jeeps (and I did not capitalize the 'j' in jeep if it's military).

Nice but not exactly perfect. Never Fear The jeep police are here. This would be concidered a combat restoration. Or even over restored.

solid disk wheels. they should be combat rims. Ford GPW never came with solid disk wheels only willys slat grills had those that is alot of money to put the wrong wheel on. Solid disk wheels are like gold. Tandem wipers too The early jeeps did not have tandem wipers. the connecting rod between the hand cranks should not be there. Not sure what the deal is with that antenna mount It was not a common WWII mount. and why have it if there is no radio? I notice he has a tandem tow bar on the front. Nice I have one too. that would explain the extra data plate on the dash. except there is one small problem. The tandem tow bar came out in 1945. In 1945 no brass data plates were made as all brass was directed for shells. Data plates at this time would have been zinc plated steel. Nice to have it but wrong material.

I have restored 3 WWII jeeps. finished my last early 42 ford script last year. To me it is all about the details. When I restore it must represent at a precise point in time. any detail out of wack for a WWII jeep not representing 1941 - 1945 it looses points

Just me being anal. I love jeeps
