These are Skunkworks fenders. I don't believe they were ever in production, so are probably looking at the only set in existence. I thought this would give you an idea if you were thinking of building your own.

Legality is a good question. Anyone have an idea about the rule for fenders? I have seen many guys around Sacramento with no fenders or flaps. I think I will get some cheap flaps when I take mine off.

Hey Bodyguy did you have to cut the bracket holding the front fender? It looks like it is mounted to the body? I have an '08 dont know if it makes a difference.

here in cali the fender flares are supposed to cover the entire width of the tire completely.
Had a friend just get a fix-it ticket for his tires sticking out too far.

Here's a fenderless pic and question.
Anyone who has taken off the front fender flares come across this part? All the photos I have seen of fenderless, this metal part does not protrude like mine. Did everyone just sawzall it off? I am timid to do so just incase I feel like purchasing some aftermarket fenders that require it.
