JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

I installed a Gauge and switch center top console, very nice...

Im not sure how the my gig antenna works but my JVC nav unit has the square antenna that I used to have mounted to a magnetic strip on my plastic daystar upper dash panel. I just stuck it right to the backside of this pod and it works perfectly...... no magnetic strip required since the unit is metal..

is the my gig similar?

The MyGig has it's square box nav antenna in a molded retainer under the center dash overlay. I had heard that metal trays mounted over it shield it from the nav signal. This (very dressy looking piece) is made of metal (no?) and I would think interferes with the nav signal. Those having difficulty in the past have shifted the antenna right or left to the center console.

Does your Jeep have the "evic" with the compass? The piece that you replaced with the guage/switch cluster...on mine, that is where the compass antenna is located (it is attached beneath the factory top molding piece). If you have the compass, was curious if you had to relocate that antenna, and if so, how?

Love the set up! I want!

Yes, I have the compass that was mounted under the factory console top.

I just got some heavy duty velcro and slapped it on the inside top of this gauge pod.

Works great, no interference what-so-ever.

I really don't believe that there is enough metal above it to really disrupt anything.

My stock compass and navigation work great even in the garage with the door shut as well has very heavy thunder storms.
