Regular fiber glass resins don't stick to SMC. We see repairs with fiber glass and the glass will separate from the SMC over time.

Keep an eye on repair are.

Where you ever able to repair the hole in your Hardtop? I have a crack in mine in the same area and have not figured out how to seperate the outer shell from the inner layer to do a proper fix of the crack. Anyone have any suggestions?
