Sorry to hear about this. My son backed my couple month old JK into a pole a couple years ago. Fortunately the damage was limited to the spare tire rack.

BTW: If by "fixin up the fiberglass" you mean the top, be aware that it's not Fiberglas and cannot be repaired properly using Fiberglas techniques. I believe that it's called SMC. I suggest that you check with a body repairman for the proper materials and techniques.

hmm.
I looked it up. Jeep.com says its fiberglass. click on the tab for the hardtop. http://www.jeep.com/en/2009/wrangler...exterior/tops/
The auto body shop told us it was fiberglass. Must be really similar... I'll be sure to do more research before tackling it. Thanks a ton bud.

Yeah, It was between the windshield and the tailgate, so when it broke it fell to the ground. Rather comical to see a severed arm laying on the ground between a pole and my Jeep...At the time it was not funny at all though
Last halloween...

No I'm not. I only take that bag along on trips. I have a patch to cover the star of life, just need to sew it on when I get a chance.

Please read post number 2 in this thread. Good suggestions on how to do this repair. And it's Sheet Molding Compound--SMC--an advanced form of Fiberglas with some special requirements for repair.

Cracked Hard Top Repairable?

Just saying, when I had my TJ I ran over the mailbox. Instead of having the body shop repair my dents and everything, I bought poison spyder corner armor to cover up the damage. One of my best investments ever, and it never would have happened if I had looked behind me in the first place.

Sometimes an accident needs to happen in order to turn what you want into a necessity.
X2, time for a new rear bumper/tire carrier
