Default Hybrid Smitty/JCR bumper

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the expensive bumpers that are on the market. I don't have a ton of money and I don't wheel hardcore. Spend all of my time on the beach in Corolla and wanted to have winching capabilities. I decided on the Smittybilt SRC classic and the JCR offroad stinger kit. Was very disappointed with the Smitty bumper, none of the welded studs matched the existing holes. Spent quite a while trying to get holes repositioned. Very happy with JCR, they actually answer the phone !!! They will definitely be my choice from here on out. Here is the list and cost for those interested:

Smitty SRC Classic $199 ( half off normal price ) Free Ship
JCR stinger $90
JCR Drings $20 all shipped free
Badlands Winch $195 Had 25% off coupon when winch was on sale
20" LED $138
wiring harness from Ebay $22 Luxwurx Universal 12 Volt Wiring Harness for LED Light Bar | eBay
Line x $100

$745 for the whole setup, suits my needs and saved a few bucks!

Lemme know how that badlands winch holds up to the salt on Corolla. Do you live there or do you just commute out there for recreation.

I spend quite a bit of time there and the aluminum bumpers are where you'll want to be in a few years. I had a rugged ridge (smitty, same difference) bumper up front and it would get surface rust from running down there.
