To the guys running these....how hard are they to get balanced? I've heard they can be a pain to get right, and on*another account I've heard some guys don't need to balance them at all? The look of the military wheel is right on!

Yes mine have a lot of wieghts added to make sure they are good. Depends on who does it too. Remember a lot of big name places wont touch them cuz of the beadlock. Liability issues

Most steel wheels will give you the military look. Especially paimted black or body colored. As for the tires. They are just the old model GY Wrangler M/T, that I believe were replaced by the MTR. No big deal. Yokohama mt look similar also.

I do prefer the solid wheel over the open or spoke design.. thou Red doesn't want this.. I've seen another fellow take a solid wheel had it painted white just like the color of his jeep.. a did a few more alteration.. and the JK jeep was looking very reminiscent to the days of the CJ

Agreed. Call Andy at Trail Worthy Fab. The offer full sets of wheels and tires and can paint anything or any color. You can find tires online for cheap or through him. Since they are a true dual beadlock they are stupid strong and hold the bead through hell and back. The same company that makes the Hutchinson rock monster beadlocks (Hutchinson) made these for the Military. You dont have to use the run flat. Andy offers custom PVC inserts that act the same with half the weight.

Quick Reply: Humvee tires, show em' if ya got them?
