GPS said 101. It was downhill, speed limiter hit at 98.
For all the safety nuts out there....no one else was on the road and had a straight downhill for about two miles.

Superchips and 6 speed manual baby.... I have no problem pegging the speed limiter on my JK. Still feels surefooted, but man... when you let go of the gas, that brick-like aerodynamic sure slows you down in a hurry!

Wow...seeing all these 100+ is sorta crazy in a jeep. I've only had my 2012 Rubi for 2 weeks but have had it up to ~92ish. Felt ok and had plenty more to go but wouldnt feel all that comfortable taking it over 100 for any length of time.
My MK IV R32 on the other hand I've had past 150 on the speedo (not sure what actual speed is at that point) and that was a thrill. That car regularly see's ~120 when there are no other cars on the road.
And my Duc Monster has been up to 130 before I pussied out.

My other vehicle ('07 R1) hit the govener at 183, but with the wind on my back I got her up to 189. So close to 200, SOMEDAY!

Over 100+
But this was with the RIPP SC and I was pissed off at some A-Hole slow pock "1 mile an hour faster then the person I am passing". So when I got a chance to go around I stepped on it and the next thing I know I am over 100. 
Rode great though.
Just saw the gas needle start to drain pretty fast too.
