Thanks for the lead.
I was curious how good pixeldecals Rubicon font hood lettering would look. I have purchased other decals/sticker from them. All high quality and very reasonable in price. So, I decided to order a custom hood decal in white vinyl. I elected to have the text state my JK's color: Red Rock.
The decals arrived within the week. They only sell in sets of two (four decals in total). This is a good thing, should you screw up the alignment. Having a spare set is a good idea.
You can specify any lettering you want, so long as it fits. Thus, you can create your own individual decal to suit your own individualized Jeep.
Once again, I was very pleased with the product quality. They offer 19 different colors.

I just kept the bottom of the lettering about 1/4" from the bottom of the hood and laid in on there from one side to the other.
I've seen a few others raise their lettering up higher away from the hood edge. I didn't have anything to reference originally, so I thought the placement looked pretty good.

Just kidding... had mine done by a local person using Eras font. Pixie dude or whatever's do look more rubiconnish.
