Hah I agree with everyone else. But a happy wife is a happy life. Keep it but suggest an AEV heat reduction hood on the next holiday.

Its not my taste but that doesn't matter does it... If you like it run it. If not find another type of hood mod at a later date that will require removal. It is awesome that she thinks of you and your hobby. Don't crush her into disliking it everytime she pulls into the driveway.

Does it do any cooling , or is it just for looks ? I will assume it's just for looks .How much did it cost ? I wonder if you gave your wife a clue that you wanted it. I can't imagine a women just buying something like that for no reason.I don't like it , but I don't like anything on my jeep that doesn't improve it's performance , but that's just me . I would Have told my wife , thank you very much for supporting my jeep habit , but It's just not what I was looking for. I would bring it back and exchange it for something that actually does work.

Do what you want with it. What I have been doing for years...In my, "man cave" I have a list on a clipboard of all the things I need, (want) for my hobbies. I include the name of the company, phone number, price, part # and Internet/street address. I cover all the bases. This has worked for about 20 years.
