Default Homeade Roof Rack

Just wanted to share my roof rack. I added rings to be able to use as a lift off for removal. I added 1/8 steel inside also the length of each rack.

I like that. I am thinking about making one that kind of looks like the MBRP. Yours looks good and simple.

Very simple. Used my mitre with steel cutting blade then simple welds. Very strong especially adding the steel inside. Got all materials at Lowes. I used my lift this morning and it works great.....

I did something similar. Used some extruded aluminum for rails and made the cross bars from 1-1/8" aluminum stock. Also added a Rugged Ridge windshield light bar and made a cross bar for that. Works great for anything long like lumber or kayaks.
Love the looks of your though. I've been thinking of the rings for lifting the hardtop off also. Much easier than running the straps through the inside. Have to do that soon.
