Home built, custom Stubby front bumper
Finnished product is found iby searching - " home built custom stubby front bumper 99% done"
OK im not gonna do a whole write up....any questions ask, I'll do my best to explain. Some easy questions to answer right off the bat.
- I used cardboard off the main angle (front and top) to find all of the corner angles.
-I stick welded it.
-It took about 10 hrs.
-its made out of 1/4" front and top and 3/16 steel on corners.
This bumper is not done, it will soon receive a winch and roller fairlead, stinger bar and lights. and a nice coating or 2 of some type of roll on liner. Hope you like it as much as i do!!!!

Looks great. I would suggest SPRAY on Duplicolor bedliner instead of roll on. If you work with it for a little bit, you can dial it in for exactly what you want. Up close is a smoother finish. Further back makes more texture. At around 10-12" or so, it looks VERY close to the finish on our fenders. Thats how I did mine, and it is very easy to touch up after you bounce it on rocks, too!
