I love the bungee-cord holding the hood down.

I would take it to the dealer and complain the top is leaking.

I think he just found whatever scrap and "made" a cage. Once that JK rolls, those side "frame tie-ins" are going to buckle in 2 seconds. Going from round tube to flat stock and just having the stock fly down the side? No comment.

Love that it gets wheeled to shit, hate the fact that it gets labeled a hardcore rig.
Yeah i was looking at the "suspect" cage myself. It looks like it was thrown together with parts of an old trampoline. tack welded....no geometry needed. come on now, we're better than that. that jeep deserves a good cage.

You three sourpusses remind me of the guy at Wal-Mart a few months back who, after parking next to my Jeep, commented to me, "You don't wheel that, do you?" I had just finished washing the Jeep because I was taking some pictures of it, one of which would eventually end up being published in an advertisement in 4WD and SUV magazine. His rig (an old TJ Sahara) looked like crap--he obviously took it out on dirt roads without the top and doors on, and didn't ever bother to wash it. It still had the stock Sahara steps, and they were bent all out of whack. Mud was caked all over the interior, because obviously that didn't bother him. He was missing a fender, that he never replaced/reinstalled.

Now, it's his business how clean he likes his rig, and what repair condition he likes to keep it in. Personally, while I'm proud of every nick, scratch and dent I've gotten at Disney, Clayton, Sedona and Moab, I still work hard to keep my rig somewhat clean looking, and in good repair.

As for the rig that is the subject of this thread: I expect the owner is having fun. Maybe you wheel your rigs hard, and if that's so, then by all means start a thread or two and I will be one of those who express amazement and bewilderment at why you chose to do what you do. But, in the meantime, that rig belongs to someone who defines hardcore wheeler--whether you agree with that or not. Otherwise, some might say you're just being cynical.
