Is your insurance going to cover this? By the way folks, for the tons of people that believe insurance companies or the law calls it an act of God, nope. Not the case, falls under collision. I have hit 11 in last 3 years, plus one elk in Colorado. And the insurance company requested proof of pictures of the animal I hit and needed to find evidence on the vehicle such as fur and/or blood.

I almost hit a deer a month ago right in front of my house turning into my driveway. Luckily my better half yelled quick enough for me to hit the breaks. Darn deer just stood there like a deer in headlights -- wait! I guess that's where the term comes from!

I really hate to see an animal suffer like that after getting hit.......we look at the deer and appreciate nature. My drip a*s neighbor looks at that same deer as his next meal......
