I did the u-bolt mount with the hard top first:




But when I got a soft top this summer, I had to move the jack to the hood.




Makes quite the conversation piece. I fabricated a RR style out of some scrap sheet I have from work.

I mount mine on the M.O.R.E. Bumper/Tire Carrier. Zero Rattle. Secured when I lock the rear gate.

Thanks all for the input. Still undecided. If I go the Hood Mount way, does the Jack interfere with the windsheild washer fluid jets, and is there any limitations to the vision out of the windshield itself. I'm presently in the midst of fabricating a custom light bar similar to 07Rubi, and Echo's.

For now it's in the back ... I'm having a tire swing built with a Hi-Jack mount and will move it there once it's done.
