Hi lift Mount Comparison
I've searched for the variuos differrent ways to mount up the Hi-Lift. I like the River Raider Hood Mounts, however, I also like the Rugged Ridge & Rampage Rear Hinge mounting system. Any thoughts or coments on either would be appreciated. Show 'em if you got 'em...

Some of the rear mounts leave the top of the Hi-Lift exposed to getting hung up in low hanging branches (and some folks live in areas without low hanging branches--LOL). I had mine on a ToughStuff on the front and really liked the look, but it is a two person job to safely remove and install the jack ...
The ToughStuff mount is expensive. Right now Quadratec lists it for $150. I bought mine right after it came out. Supplee 4X4, which is only a couple miles from my home, sold it to me for $115. I don't know what he's charging now. But, once I got a proper rear bumper mount for my Hi-Lift, I was able to convert the Tough Stuff hood mount to other uses with parts provided in the original kit ...
