Default Herculined the hardtop

Right or wrong, good or bad, it's done. I bought the hardtop used. It was beat up, scratched, chipped etc. I couldn't see repainting it because it's already been scratched on the trail, so I decided to Herculine it. Then I coated it with the Herculiner UV coating. This sucker is solid. I'm still not used to the look but it's better than the old beat up hardtop.

I think it looks BADASS

If you destroy your fender flares out on the trail and they are all scratched up.... you can match them with the top

Thumbs up better than painting it

I don't have a problem with it, I thinks it's a great idea if your top is beat up.

I've thought of this as well... Looks real good. How much weight do you think it added?

Judging from the photo's, I'd say it looks great. My only concern would be after a time not being able to get it clean due to the texture. Good job!

MK it says he did use UV protectant... I think the hardtop looks great like that. NICE!

The UV top Coat I used added a lot of gloss. The water actually just wipes right off.I did the two hard top panels first a while ago. I'm not sure how much weight it added but with all the other stuff I've piled on, what's a few more pounds. I'm curious to see if it added any insulation value, both sound/heat. Not sure yet. It was easier than I thought.
