Default HEMI, D60's and Evo coilover/evo-level

Doing the next, and hopefully final, stage of my JK build. Here is a consolidated view with a timeline of what is going on. The entire build is also documented in the Xtreme section.

Feb. 11, 2009 - In front of my apartment ready to go to SLC down in Bedford, TX.

Feb. 18, 2009 - Sitting in front of SLC shop. Seems to be sitting a lot.

Feb. 23, 2009- Evo-lever test fitting

Feb. 25, 2009 - SOLID D60's arrived and are getting ready to go in.

Mar. 3, 2009 - Making room for the 6.1 and installing coilover mounting brackets.

Mar. 5, 2009 - Some shots of the front axles going in and the coilovers:

Mar. 6, 2009 - Front suspension being wrapped up

(giving the bumpstops a place to land)

(the other side-already set up)

(the stop again - also showing trackbar bracketry)

(bumpstop mount)

(now painted up on the other side)

(coilover tower before finish welding in)

Mar. 6, 2009 - Rearend getting finished up

Mar. 7, 2009 - Rearend completed

Mar. 9, 2009 - Some shots of the dual-rate sway bar.

Mar. 10, 2009 - 6.1 HEMI going in today!!!!

Mar. 10, 2009 PM - Look what is sitting where the old 3.8 was.

Mar. 11, 2009 - HEMI in and Tires & Wheels on

Mar. 12, 2009 - Radiator in and wiring being done

The guys down at Sreaming Lizard Customs are doing an awesome job. Great bunch of guys to work with. Can't say enough about them.

Well if we ever end up in a civil war with our own military if the economy fails and they try taking away our rights, guns, yada yada yada....you would be one up on everyone with a trail ready utilitarian beast. Go ahead and get SLC to build you a roll cage with reinforcements for a mounted .50 cal ...you'd be smokin......literally

...come to think of it...why don't you get them to go ahead and cage that monster? Dude ..it's just a lil more money, hell it's just money...do it...she'll understand

I was thinking of a full cage at some point, but for now I think I am ok with the sport cage. Maybe she will understand, but my accountant won't.

I like the sport cage, forget the company, but it's an all bolt on front and rear and down the sides of our windshield pillars. Two of my local buddies with TJ's have the same version and have both rolled and both had very minimal damage, one had to get a windshield was all but everything else was fine.

That's a Rock Hard Cage. or could be the OR-Fab one but that one is no good, so hopefully not.

It's Rock Hard's Sport Cage.

Best mod you hope to never use.

Your Jeep is looking awesome!
