HEMI Conversion????????????!!!!!!!!!!
I have a friend that works at a jeep dealer and has come across a 6.1 hemi out of a charger with trans everything etc. Will the engine and trans work out of the charger? I have access to all the parts and he can install. Is there anything else that he would need? Are there instructions I can print some where? Sorry about all of the questions, but I just came upon this deal and it seems like I can't pass it up, but I do want to do it right the first time. Thanks everyone for the help.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember that the car HEMIs work better for the JK conversion than the truck HEMIs. I think you're on the right track.

And you'll of course also need the AEV Hemi Install kit. You can't just bolt it in and go, like the old days with a muscle car. Now these things need brains to go with the brawn.

The possiblities are ouy there wether and what motor you use. Yes the AEV Kit is primarily set up for the Grans and Commander set up. This is real close to the LX wich can be used no problem.
The AEV Kit is a very nice Kit if you use the exact setup they use. There are other options if you do not have the exact set up.

We use alot of combinations, mainly the easiest parts and the best price.
The GC works great the LX, XK, and even the DR can be used in the right combination of harness radiator and more.
