Lol. I saw that one to...I was thinking, this should be good...then I waited...and waited...I was beginning to wonder if he was actually going to go. silly to post it as a 6.1, you couldn't even hear it either

The 6.1l crate is probably at least 9,000 alone. Then you need a transmission, exhaust, a computer re-flash, wiring harnesses, probably a bigger radiator.


New drive shafts would be nice as well.



Basically, burnsville offroad charges 24,000 for the full swap. Not a cheap mod.
In addition to regearing to 4.88 (for 33 in my case)…OffRoadEvolution traveled all the way here and did couple of regearing for Jks

It does make a lot difference not only in performance, but also the way it shifts at low speeds..

Hey, i've been saving for one of these 6.1 hemi swaps for a while now, doing this here in Dubai is a little more difficult as parts and tools are limited for me. Whats the law in the UAE regarding modifications like this? Registering and all that?

Did you do the work yourself or is there a good shop in UAE?

Jeep R, how long is your 1st gear with 4.88 & 33" and a hemi? say at 4000rpm what is your km/hr?

@4000rpm speed is 40km/h
Redline @6200rpm about 60km/h
