You just answered my question as to why would you need a Hemi for offroading! Maybe not for rock and slower stuff, but for sand it certainly comes in handy.

If you can afford a 6.1 Hemi, I don't think you would be worried about gas mileage. It would be too fun just to open it up all the time and the tank would be empty anyways. That sounded freaken awesome.
