Moto Metal 0957
Bad news all around.......
Moto Metal DOES NOT MAKE matte black with a 5x5 lug.
You can order them, the box will say Matte Black, but when you open it it will be machined. I now have a jeep mid lift, with big tires but no rims to put it on.
When asking the manufacturer, after asking for a few hours, they say it doesnt exist, despite everyone selling them on the web.
Love the rim, now mad at Moto Metal for being so confusing, as they dont even seem to know whats going on. Seems you cant give your money away these days.......
Good luck.

Moto Metal - and Dante' 5th level of hell
Yeah, I heard similar stories, and that they were going to start manufacturing them again in a few months.....but I figure thats all pillow talk to get the money. After having a few people call the manufacturer, they don't even have a part number for a 5x5 matte black (its the same as the machined), and everyone: distributers, vendors, etc. are just as confused. The problem is they make Matte Black or Machined for all other lug types except 5x5 (how many time have you heard that in yoru searches).
I opted for the Jesse James Black Widows....they were about 3 times as much but it finally put an end to looking at rim website upon rim website.
Take a gander.......
I still have the beadlock rivets to screw on, but not until they are painted black, and the bolts painted to match the frame.
The pictures don't quite give it scale. The tires are about hip high. Rims are 18" and side steps are already in the garage waiting to be installed.

I just put some ProComp Xtreme Alloys Series 1079 on my Rubi. I still have the stock tires until I can afford new ones.
