It has begun! My "Build it as I go" thread...
Well... like many have said before me.... Finally got my lift done! Here are a few cell phone pics, will post better ones once the weather clears a bit and I get the mud washed off! Behold! My 2013 Wrangler Unlimited, JKU! 2.5" coil lift from Teraflex, Monster adjustable Trackbar, Mickey Thompson Classic III's in 17x9 wrapped in Kelly Safari TSR's in 315/70r17. I have not measured to see how much actual lift I got, but let me tell you, it feels a lot higher! Throttle response is about the same, steering a high speeds feels... a bit... delayed? There is some road noise, but nothing major. So far so good!

I think I have 3:10 gears gotta find my bill of sale to verify though. As far as the tuner, I am looking into getting the Diablo Sport Trinity, but I have to save up for that... Overall I am extremely pleased with the new look and aggressive stance!

3.21 or 3.73 for a JKU sport. 3.21 usually only come with the base 16" wheels and no options. If it came with a trailer hitch it is absolutely a 3.73 which is perfectly fine for a 3.6 and 35s.
4.10s are a Rubicon only option.

I mean no disrespect, however, I have a 2014 JKU sport with upgraded wheels and tires and a receiver for towing and I only have 3.21's. Best to check the paperwork or run the VIN. I wish I new better, I would have had them install the 3.73's.

Well 24 hours after the lift was installed, I encountered by first problem. As I was leaving work I hit a small pot hole, I mean not even noticeable, Then I hear this thud coming from the rear... As I am driving I am replaying that sound and trying to determine if maybe I am overreacting, maybe with these newer and stiffer springs it's just gonna be a rougher ride... anyway i happens a few more times and I decide to have a look when I get home. Well long story short, the new rear lower bump stops (Teraflex) were installed backwards (I verified using the Teraflex Youtube install video) and the trackbar bracket(?) was hitting it every time the rear springs compressed even a little. Fixing to go out and fix this as we I type! Easy fix, but gonna have a few words with my installers.
