no problem. i used the brackets that came with the horns, except the one behind grille.. i used my silver one which was laying around, plus the one on the horn. attached to a bolt holding ac condensor to rad. top right corner. good luck man!!!

oh... thats pretty much the only spot to put it and have the front grille piece snap on correctly. tried the center, but they stick out to far and grille didnt go on correctly.

I have been thinking about replacing my horn with the original style from the '73 CJ5 that I grew up driving. It kinda sounds like a strong VW bug horn.
IF I find one, I am not sure if it will hook right up ... does anyone know?

i replaced mine in around 30 seconds in the stock location with a stock horn someone gave me out of an old caddy. Its not beastly or anything, but definitely an improvement.

I put in the Wolo Bad Boy as have many people on here. It's plug and play and it sounds a million times better. You do have to up the fuse a little bit. Check out eBay for a good deal on one of these and there are a bunch of threads on here about them.

At the local salvage yard I traded a few of my stock suspension parts for two horns from an old F350. I hung one of them from my hood and moved the stock horn to sit in tandem with it. Then I ran a relay from the old horn wire. It has serious old truck authority now with both horns. Sounds great and really has some oomph!
