Daaaammnnnn... those look like they dont F*** around. Possibly dumb question tho, you planning on mounting them externally, just behind the grille? Never seen anything like these before

Here's an install below. I've heard mixed reviews about these. They're definitely louder but they don't seem to have the "Big-Rig meets Cruise ship" sound that a lot of folks want. There are some sound clips out there though so you may find that they work for what your tryin' to do.

Thanks for the install link! I installed a set of these horns on my BMW and loved them. I don't care for the "big-rig" sound, but want something that gets noticed. Believe me...these do the trick! As a bonus, they will look very nice behind the grill of my flame red Jeep! ![Yup](https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/images/smilies/yup.gif)
Any other install ideas out there?

Right on.
Personally, I'm looking for something that can re-create "The Brown Note". I'm thinkin' that's the best way to get the slow-pokes out of the left lane.

If you're looking for the big rig/ fire truck sound. Go to your local Big rig yard and grab a used 24" before you go buy a whole new kit. Got my entire setup for $40.
5 Gallon tank- Harbor Freight $20
24" Air horn- $15 (came with air lines and valve)
20' of 1/4" air lines $2.18
It definitely gets the slow pokes outta the left lane...

i have those horns and there loud!! i used a black marker and made mine black. i then mounted one where the stock horn is behind headlight, and the other is behind the grill on driver side. i used a lil metal bracket i had to mount it to. tapped two wires onto the stock wires, and grounded both other connectors on the horn. dont have any pics, but i could take some...

Thanks. I live about 2 miles from a "Truck Center". I'll have to poke around a little.
