i don't have a place to lock my 1911, yet. for now i just leave it in the glove box and tell the dog to "watch it" at places i can't carry.

Tuffy is nice, but $500 for the center console and what, $250 for the glovebox? Too spendy for me.

Just an update, it fits perfectly in the bottom of the little "trunk" storage area. Add a padlock to the spring loaded latch on the trunk and you have more security. (well, you do on mine because the tool box in my Jeep covers the hinge for that trunk cubby)

Most dealers have the Tuffy JK Security Console Insert for around $225 and the Tuffy Security Glovebox for around $159. There are even a few sites that offer free shipping. Either of these would be very capable of securing a handgun.

i to have my doors and top off as much as i can and carry everyday i have yet to order my lock box of any sort i was thinking under the driver seat bolted or with a slim lock box under the back seat locked with the cable. Cant decide, a combo box would be best i swim and raft lots and its hard to keep my gun, keys, cell phone, and my wallet in my speedo hopeing to figure somthing out soon ill post pics when i do but if someone beats me to it please share your pics
