GT seat covers (with pics)
I spent a looooong time on the forums looking for info on seatcovers - mostly the discussions I found were on the pros/cons of neoprene. I had neoprene on my first jeep (TJ) and I knew I didn't want a set because the old ones had faded from black to purple, and in the summer really gave you an advanced case of swampass (not to be confused with mudbutt). There wasn't much talk about different custom fit seat covers for a 2010 JK, but every once in a while I would see a vague mention of marathon or gt seat covers. I finally pulled the trigger last Sunday and bought GT seat covers (I don't know if I can post a link, but you should be able to find them on google). I liked the site because they had many different materials and TONS of different colors/styles. I settled on the endura black/charcoal (c1/c8) because they most closely matched the look of my factory seats which I liked, and the description said they were waterproof, fade-resistant, stain-resistant, and didn't get really hot in the sun (unlike neoprene).
Pros:
+ The seatcovers got here FAST. I ordered them last Sunday and fedex delivered them today (the site says 7-10 business days to process an order).
+ the site had a deal where if you buy both front and rear, they give you a % off. It was still $350 or so for both which was a little pricey, but only a little more than if you got a standard neoprene set at 4wd or quadratec.
+ The seat covers I received were exactly what I was expecting from the site - color, material, etc.
+ the covers fit pretty well after only a decent amount of work (feels about the same as the time I put on the neoprenes)
Cons:
- HUGE CON - the bottom piece for the rear seat cover doesn't have cutouts for the seatbelts in the middle. I'm guessing it's because in the older JKs the seatbelt buckles were bolted to the floor and just sat between the seats, but in 2010 they are bolted to the inside of the bench and come out the middle. I had to cut the threads holding the seam together, which made me nervous while I was doing it and still makes me worry that the threads will unravel or something.
- the rear seat cover (bottom piece) kinda sucks in general. I suppose its because its not wraparound because of the bottom seat bars, but still - looks kinda cheap compared to the rest of the covers. Could just be me.
- this one is my fault: if you are an instant gratification person, pray you don't get your seat covers delivered on a saturday where its 85 degrees outside. Plus humidity. The install took about 2 1/2 hours and 2 bottles of vitamin water.
- the material is nylon/canvas, like a bookbag or laptop bag. This means when you are pulling/stretching/jamming between areas, you will scrape the skin off your knuckles. Ive got big hands, but am missing good chunks of skin on 5 of 8 fingers.

update
after riding around for a week, these do give you a little backsweat, but not as bad as neoprenes.
The pictures actually make it look a little baggier than they really are - I was using the cell cam so maybe thats why? I'll try to take pictures.
Agree that the rear seat cover looks better than the front. I emailed them about the issue with the back seat and they apologized and suggested that maybe they sent me an older year, we shall see. They are sending me a postage paid returns sticker, I'll send it back and see if I can get a better fit on the fronts and backs (here's to hoping its a problem with what they sent, and not their product in general).
