How much money(ballpark) did you invest in that if you dont mind me asking. I am new to this, and just bought the same jeep, and would like to get that done to mine.

Rig looks great.

Hankook MTs are about $210 a piece in that size and the Teraflex 3" lift with shocks is $700, +80 bucks or so for mount and balance, so I'd say he's in for about $1800 ballpark, unless he had someone else do the work, or got the tires used or something.

The Teraflex feels pretty good on the road. It's not much stiffer than stock, but you can definately feel the difference in the center of gravity. I am going wheeling this weekend and will be able to report on it more after the trip. I got the lift from a friend at a local shop. I think he sells this lift for about $700. We installed it after-hours, so installation didn't cost me anything (he owes me a few installs anyway). The tires were $172 each plus tax, mounted and balanced. The tire guy gave me $300 for my take-offs, so I guess I have about $1500 in it after adding in the wheel spacers.

Sounds like you got a hell of a deal on it, nice Wish I could find someone to give me $300 for my take-offs!

Yeah, if i could get someone to float me a few bills for my takeoffs, i could probably get the better half to agree to a new set of sneakers.

Call around, I know several chain places will buy them IF you are buying tires from them. Discount Tire/America's Tire is one but I don't think they have them in New York. You might have some luck if you are offering them as trade-ins as opposed to buying them outright.
