She was traveling at 40 miles an hour. Her estimate. I would say at least that. Hit very hard. Jeep took it pretty well. Her car not so much. My bumpers are messed up. Front and rear. I hit the van in front of me as a result. Exhaust is also messed up. Who knows about the spare. And I'm worried about finding out anything else is wrong. Super sore. Hit us HARD. She wasn't paying attention. Even admitted that we were a long ways away. We were stopped in traffic on the freeway by the way. I'll attach a photo of the Jeep

damn that sucks, glad you weren't seriously hurt. I had something similar happen to me a few years ago. You'll never be able to stop in traffic and not feel like you're going to get nailed again. Why can't people just pay attention when they are driving, it's not that hard to do.

I'm wondering if I can get a new winch mounted front bumper out of this however. Cost wise a brand new mopar bumper is pretty expensive so could probably get close to the same cost of not breaking even

I can feel your pain..similar thing happened to me. I was behind slow traffic maybe going 30-35 and a lady hit me traveling 70+ while playing on her cell phone. The impact was so hard the unibody of her car was impaled by my tow hook and the two had to be ripped apart. Nearly $10,000 in damage. All is well now, and did get an aftermarket bumper out of it. Glad you're OK
